Doctors Advised Complete Bed Rest To Gen Musharraf
The medical board treating former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf has advised him complete bed-rest.
The medical board has recommended that the former president avoid even minor movement and get physiotherapy conducted on daily basis.
A private news channel reported that Musharraf’s spinal cord treatment is not possible in Pakistan and that he was recommended to go abroad for the purpose.
Musharaf was shifted to his residence in Clifton, Karachi amidst tight security.

Gen Musharraf's treatment not possible in Pakistan: Medical Board
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The doctors treating former president Pervez Musharraf concluded on Thursday after examining his backbone that his treatment is not possible in Pakistan and advised him to seek medical care abroad, Dunya News reported.
The doctors at PNS Shifa Hospital conducted former president’s physiotherapy along with some other tests. According to sources close to the medical board, Musharraf’s treatment is not possible in Pakistan and must be taken abroad to treat his backbone.
Earlier, Sindh High Court reserved its judgment over a plea submitted by former military ruler Pervez Musharraf seeking removal of his name from the exit control list (ECL) to travel abroad.
During case proceeding today, Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt argued that Pervez Musharraf is trying to evade cases. It is feared that he will not return to Pakistan once he is allowed to leave the country.
He told court that an accused tried under Article 6 cannot be handed over to another country.
Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar also remarked that an accused in a criminal case cannot be handed over to other country until completion of the proceedings.
The court reserved its judgment over the plea after former president’s lawyer Farogh Naseem completed his arguments.
Judgment reserved on Gen Musharraf's ECL plea
KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday reserved judgment on application pertaining to removal of former president Pervez Musharraf’s name from ECL till May 31.
Talking to media Barrister Farogh Naseem said "this is not Treason Case against Musharraf, its abrogation of constitution"
He said that the medical reports clearly state that Musharraf cannot be treated in Pakistan.
"It is also clear from Musharraf's medical report that his backbone is fractured", he told media.
Naseem further said that the Trial Court clearly stated that Musharraf is free to travel.
"Treason Case against Musharraf is based on ill intentions.” he added. SAMAA

سندھ ہائی کورٹ نے پاکستان کے سابق فوجی صدر پرویز مشرف کا نام ایگزٹ کنٹرول لسٹ پر سے نکالنے کی درخواست پر اپنا فیصلہ 31 مئی تک محفوظ کر لیا ہے۔
سرکاری ذرائع ابلاغ کے مطابق جمعرات کو ای سی ایل سے نام نکالنے کی درخواست سندھ ہائی کورٹ میں ہوئی۔

پرویز مشرف کے وکلا کو 27 مئی تک اضافی دستاویزات فراہم کیے جائیں، خصوصی عدالت

نہ کرنے پر خصوصی عدالت نے حکم دیا ہے کہ سابق صدر کے وکلا کو 27 مئی تک
تمام اضافی دستاویزات فراہم کئے جائیں۔
سابق صدر پرویز مشرف کے خلاف غداری کیس کی سماعت جسٹس فیصل عرب کی سربراہی میں 3 رکنی عدالت نے کی۔ سماعت کے دوران استغاثہ کی ٹیم کےایک وکیل نصیرالدین نیئر نےعدالت کوبتایاکہ پرویزمشرف کی مزید دستاویزات فراہم کرنے کی درخواست وزارت داخلہ اور ایف آئی اے کو بھجوا دی ہے تاہم اس کا ابھی جواب نہیں ملا لہذا دستاویزات دینے کے لئے مزید وقت دیا جائے جس پر جسٹس فیصل عرب نےکہاکہ تاخیر اب آپ کی طرف سے ہورہی ہے وکیل صفائی کی طرف سے نہیں، آپ 27 مئی تک دستاویزات دے دیں جس کے بعد عدالت نے کیس کی سماعت 3 جون تک ملتوی کردی۔
واضح رہے کہ خصوصی عدالت نے پرویز مشرف کے وکیل بیرسٹر فروغ نسیم کی درخواست پر غداری کیس میں وفاقی تحقیقاتی ادارے کو سابق صدر کو تحقیقاتی رپورٹ سمیت تمام دستاویزات 14 مئی تک فراہم کرنے کا حکم دیا تھا، عدالت نے اپنے حکم میں کہا تھا کہ کیس کے حوالے سے تمام ریکارڈ تک رسائی ملزم کا قانونی حق ہے، تحقیقات کے دوران اگر کسی فرد نے کوئی اضافی نوٹ بھی لکھا ہے تو وہ بھی پرویز مشرف کے وکلاء کو فراہم کیا جائے۔

Article 6 case: court tells prosecution to provide documents to defence
During the proceeding of the case Musharraf’s lawyer Shaukat Hyat submitted an application in the court and asked for the provision of relevant documents, including the minutes of the 44th session of the National Assembly (NA), list of members of the then cabinet (Shaukat Aziz and cabinet), list of advisers and attorneys general of the federal government and the list of provincial governors.Shaukat Hyat also asked the court for a list of chief ministers, chief secretaries, home secretaries, inspector generals of police, members of the provincial assemblies and cabinets of the four provinces and a copy of the notification that replaced General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani as chief of army staff. The defence lawyer also sought the documents, including the names of the caretaker prime minister, members of the federal caretaker cabinet from November 2007 till December 15, 2007, and their present addresses; names of all the service chiefs and corps commanders as on November 3, 2007 and their present addresses.

SHC adjourns hearing of Musharraf's ECL case until May 20
Barrister Farogh Naseem said that the government wanted to influence the court with putting Pervez Musharraf’s name on ECL. He said that name of any citizen cannot be put on ECL only with an administrative order.The bench after hearing the arguments adjourned the hearing of the case till May 20.
